Synopsis

The minimal and aesthetically pleasing dance performance White Lullaby surrounds an audience with Lithuanian fairy tale mythology, but echoes current everyday issues. For example, how do we explain to a child that, in spite of the fact that we have to spend long hours at work or even leave our home country, they are always with us in our thoughts and feelings, loved and cared for?

This sensitive, warm performance tells children the story of how Bunny travels to his dream world where he meets his mother Rabbit and reconciles with his friends, grandmother Cow and neighbour Duck. White Lullaby has been performed at various festivals, including “Litauen Tanzt Contemporary“ in Berlin (DE), “Different Theatre for Children“ in Vilnius (LT), “Kids Euro“ festival in Washington (USA), China Children Theater Festival (CN) and DanceCity in New Castle (UK).
