Hungarian circus art has a long tradition, bridging people, art forms, the past and the future. The TAKE IT OVER project draws attention to the fundamental values that we want to preserve at all costs and that we must pass on to the next generation. Like all performing arts, circus arts have a special responsibility to respond to the changing world around us. Circus Lightning performances in the framework of the Theatre Olympics represent these messages. The audience arriving at the theatre performances will be greeted by a wire props in front of the theatre building, which will be walked through by an artist in a short performance lasting a few minutes.
On 15 April, for the first time in Hungary, a man walked from one side of the river to the other, balancing on a wire stretched across the Danube. The performance, unique in Hungary, was performed by an artist, jr. László Simet, a worthy artist, will perform at the opening event of the Theatre Olympics.
