Discussions on Contemporary Mexican Theatre

On 8 May at the Gobbi Hilda Stage of the National Theatre, invited guests will discuss contemporary Mexican theatre.

  • Aurora Cano, current Director of the National Theatre of Mexico and founder of the DramaFest Mexican Centre for Contemporary Drama
  • Jesús Hermandez, internationally recognised lighting designer (Moscow)
  • Javier Valdivieslo, Director of the Cervantes Institute

Hungary's stages hosted the world's top theatre artists during the 10th Theatre Olympics from April 2023. The genre-rich programme attracted 200 000 viewers and put the country on the world theatre map.
