The Duke orders Othello to go to Cyprus to fight and allows Desdemona to accompany her husband. Othello entrusts Desdemona to Iago and his wife Emilia to bring him to Cyprus. Iago takes Roderigo with him. Othello, victorious from the war, meets Desdemona on Cyprus.
