"Journey..." is Karinthy's life-or-death adventure around her own reality. The reality of a writer's head, in which very strange things happen.
(Tumor, blood clot, confrontation, awareness of illness, hope, etc.). But that's okay: the self-awareness born during the great journey, which starts from the skull and returns there after a few elegant rounds, can make life, which is otherwise considered finite, infinite.
It is not easy for a seriously ill person, if suddenly someone starts to pave the way to recovery. What kind of hopes fatten the rare experience of rebirth, and to what extent does humor, as a body fluid, help the sufferer facing his own disease to "revive" fatal acceptance?
I talked about a lot of things then. Just not about the point. The real answer arrived two years later, when we had already overcome the pandemic, the broken collarbone of our main character, the ordeal of the writer's near-death illness, then we didn't know that it would become our personal story. Then came the period of reevaluation. It's as if a person is given a gift of completely different senses than before, as a result of which the world is retuned and offers images, sounds and tastes like never before.
