Synopsis

King Edward's brother Richard is born ugly and humpback, he dreams of being king since childhood, but he knows that he will never become king if he does not get his brothers and their children out of the way, so he purposefully begins to weave intrigues. First, he marries the widow of his sworn enemy, Lady Anne, to consolidate his power, and then he imprisons his own brother, Clarence, where he sends assassins who kill Clarence in prison.

Then it's the turn of the second brother, King Edward, Richard blames him and his wife for the death of Clarence and kills his already dying brother. After Edward, Edward's under aged son takes the throne of England, and until the prince comes of age, Richard is appointed as the prince's guardian, but Richard is not satisfied with this, he wants to take possession of the throne to the end, and therefore weaves a new intrigue: first, he kills the prime minister of the country, Hastings, so that he does not interfere, and then starts public declarations in the country demanding that the prince be deprived of the title of king and that Richard be declared the rightful heir to the throne.

So Richard takes the throne, but the kingship does not bring him peace, he can no longer do without murders, he is up to his neck in blood and cannot live without blood, first he kills princes and relatives as potential opponents in the future, and then he begins to kill those who helped him seize the throne, his loyal friend Lord Buckingham and finally his wife, Lady Anne. Richard now sees everyone as his enemy, he is suspicious of everyone, and the biggest enemy for him is his own conscience. He is visited daily by ghosts from that world, the insane King Richard III dies in a war with his conscience. He is killed by his own victims.
