The Csokonai Theatre in Debrecen is organizing a large-scale theatre showcase in the framework of the 10th Theatre Olympics between 15 May 2023 and 15 June 2023.
Debrecen will host the national theatres and the theatres with special status in Hungary, which have nominated the performance that best represents their mission and artistic credo.
The aim of the theatre showcase is, in a spirit of dialogue and respect for artistic activity, to give an idea of the mission, goals and needs of the companies that make up the artistic work in our theatres. It provides an opportunity for the invited companies to reflect on their own mission and to evaluate the professional work of their institution.
The venue of the National Theatre Showcase will be the Csokonai Forum, inaugurated in August 2022.
